Guy was born to parents who encouraged creativity. He began drawing in school and ended up in the headmaster's office for paying more attention to his doodling than to the teacher.

However, his talent was recognized and put to good use when his teachers asked Guy to produce their classroom presentations.

When the time came to leave school, psychological and aptitude testing showed that Guy had a strong leaning towards creative and teaching skills. A degree as an art teacher seemed the ideal choice. Guy switched his degree to Graphic Design with a minor in marketing psychology at registration.
